My Morning Jacket Announce New Album, Release Video

My Morning Jacket today announced the release of their new self-titled album. Release date is set for Oct. 22.

The announcement was accompanied by the release of a new video, “Regularly Scheduled Programming.” Watch it below. 

“I have always wanted to get more into creating motion pictures,” said Jim James, “so it was a real thrill to write my first video treatment and then bring it to life co-directing it with George Mays. I hope it makes folks stop and think about how much time and space our phones/devices are eating up in our lives and ultimately tell the people they love how much they love them while they can… and also to get out and spend more time in nature!”
