Radio streaming

To launch our live radio stream, click “Listen Live” at the top of the page (or use this link).

Please note: The player works best with newer and up-to-date browsers, namely Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. Ad blockers are known to interfere with the player. Please whitelist coloradosound.org in your extension or disable it to ensure the listening experience works.

If you are having problems streaming, we’ve compiled some of the most common issues and solutions in a short FAQ (PDF). If you continue to have problems, please contact us at comment@coloradosound.org.

Smart speakers

To listen on Google Home, simply say “Hey Google, play The Colorado Sound.”

If you have a smart speaker, it’s easy to listen to The Colorado Sound with just a simple voice command.

For Alexa say, “Alexa, play The Colorado Sound.”

If that doesn’t immediately work on Alexa, you may need to enable The Colorado Sound skill – simply give Alexa a command to “enable The Colorado Sound skill.” Once the skill is active, you can say: “Alexa, open The Colorado Sound.”

Our new Colorado Sound app

Our app has been updated!

The Colorado Sound app is a free way to listen, no matter where you are. Our newly updated app also now shows song and artist information as well as album artwork and a list of recently played songs. Plus, you can share your opinion on a song by voting – just use the thumbs up or down function, or click the “vote” icon in the menu at the bottom.

You can also see the Concert Calendar (use the “events” button) or visit our website, right from inside the app.

You can check that status of our on-air signals on our signal status page on KUNC.org (the page shows signal status for both stations). If you encounter a signal outage, you can submit your finding to us via form at the bottom of that same page. We appreciate your help in keeping our signal strong!
