Where in the world are you listening to us?

World Radio Day happens this year on Thurs., Feb. 13, and in honor of that day, we want to know, from where in the world are you listening to The Colorado Sound?

World Radio Day was founded by UNESCO in 2011, and adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in 2012, celebrating radio as “one of the most dependable and widely utilized forms of media in the world.” We thought it was a great way to celebrate how many of you listen to us in cities and countries around the world.

We know many of you are based in Colorado, which is of course fantastic. And please, if you’re listening in Colorado, let us know! In addition, though, quite a few of you listen from across the country and around the world, using our mobile app, streaming player, or smart speaker.

The map (below) shows locations where listeners have streamed us from around the globe in recent months. Zoom in and see a pin for each country where one of you has streamed us.

Every day we say that you can listen to The Colorado Sound from “anywhere in the world,” and this map shows that’s exactly what you are doing.
