John Prine To Play Three Colorado Dates

John Prine will be featured on Torch & Twang this Sunday, and it couldn’t have come at a better time. We just found out that the legendary songwriter is releasing his first album on April 13th. Tree Of Forgiveness is Prine’s first album in 13 years.

There’s even better news, too. Prine will team up with Nathaniel Rateliff for three Colorado shows in November.

His world tour takes him to Breckenridge November 7, Grand Junction November 8, and Denver for a November 10 appearance. Tour details here.

“Summer’s End” is the first single off the new album. Prine continues to be a national treasure, and at 73 his songwriting is as fine tuned as ever. Tree Of Forgiveness was recorded at the historic RCA Studio A in Nashville.

Pat McLaughlin, Roger Cook, Dan Auerbach, Keith Sykes and Phil Spector share co-writing responsibilities.
