Bettye Lavette’s Things Have Changed features 12 Dylan covers across his career

Good news Torch & Twang fans! Starting now, you’ll be able to listen to Torch & Twang for two weeks after every episode. 

Some highlights this week’s episode include a new one from Motel Mirrors, “The Man Who Comes Around”. It’s the off In The Meantime – the debut EP for the swinging folk-soul band out of Memphis. 

In the nine o’clock hour, some great new sounds from Dave Alvin and Jimmy Dale Gilmore on “Downey To Lubbock”, a gritty blues number traversing West-Texas Americana.

Another track we are loving is “Things Have Changed”, the Dylan cover from Bettye Lavette. That song can be found on the early-2018 release of the same name, featuring covers across Dylan’s catalog.
