We brought eight artists together for the Tiny Desk Contest

*It all starts with a desk, and with a community of incredible musicians.*

Bringing the music community together

We all know the Colorado music scene is one of the best in the entire country. While coming up with a plan to showcase some of the finest Colorado artists, we had a thought in mind. Why not team up with NPR Music to get a diverse lineup of musicians together, have them record a song, and help them submit their videos to the Tiny Desk Contest?

Recording took place on Saturday, April 6 in the barrel room of Odell Brewing.

The videos below offer a sampling of the diversity of music heard up and down the Front Range – Americana, world, rock, punk, electronic, and hip hop to just name a few.

A very special thanks to the Fort Collins Music Association and Odell Brewing for their collaboration. This project couldn’t have gone off without Eric Smith of Little House of Sound, who shot the videos.

And, also to NPR Music, for their dedication to spotlight artists throughout the country during their month-long Tiny Desk Contest.
