Watch Sturgill Simpson’s New Anime Video
Sturgill Simpson seems like an unlikely anime artist, but his new video for “Sing Along” proves otherwise. Simpson, whose 2016 crossover album A Sailor’s Guide To Earth won a Grammy for best country album that year, has been talked about as the next very big thing in country music for a few years. Now, it seems as if he’s going for something bigger than that.
On September 27, per NPR Music, Kentucky’s Simpson will release a new album and a new anime film on Netflix, both called Sound & Fury. Judging by the video, we are in for some really interesting music and storytelling.
