The Colorado Sound curates a Sofar Sounds show in Denver

The Colorado Sound is proud to partner with Sofar Sounds, an international group bringing music discovery to cities all over the world. Sofar Sounds is all about creating intimate music shows in unique venues.

In November, we presented our first collaborative show in Boulder, Colo. Next, on Saturday, Dec. 11 we present our second show. This time it takes place in Denver’s Five Points neighborhood.

As before, three artists will perform in an undisclosed location – which will be revealed to ticket holders 36 hours before the show. All we can say about the performance is you’ll see short sets from artists in various genres.

Yes, the event is shrouded in mystery – but that is part of the fun! 

Sofar Sounds is a community of artists, hosts, fans, travelers, and more. Founded in 2009, they put on secret, intimate events each month across 325 cities around the world. Everyday spaces are turned into captivating venues for secret, live shows. It’s an immersive experience that brings artists and fans closer together than in a typical venue. You never know ahead of time who you’re going to hear. In fact, numerous artists have played Sofar shows before they became nationally known, including Leon Bridges, Sylvan Esso, and Anderson East (watch performances from previous Sofar shows).

The Colorado Sound/Sofar Sounds show takes place Saturday, Dec 11 at 7:30pm in Denver, Colo. Tickets are $24 and on sale now. Please refer to your show confirmation email for mask and vaccine requirements. Drinks will be available to purchase at the event. You must be 21+ to attend.
