Remembering Rick Hall

Music 101 starts 2018 on a sad note. On January 2, the music world lost music producer, songwriter, founder of FAME studios, and the “Father of Muscle Shoals Music”, Rick Hall.

As I say at the beginning of tonight’s episode, you may not know his name but you sure do know his sound! Rick Hall’s imprint shaped some of the greatest music of more than one generation.
