Watch the Muppets perform LCD Soundsystem’s ‘Dance Yrself Clean’
Just over a decade ago, the Muppets gave a surprise performance on the streets of Brighton, England to delighted passers-by. And they didn’t perform familiar Muppet material such as “Mah Na Mah Na,” but instead gave a one-of-a-kind ‘live’ performance of the LCD Soundsystem song “Dance Yrself Clean.”
Stacy featured the song on today’s Time Warp, but the video is awesome, too. Watch it above.
In the video, Kermit, Animal, Cookie Monster, and Miss Piggy perform the song, while people on the street stop to watch, smile, and take photos. This ‘unofficial’ music video was directed by Javier Douglas.

“Dance Yrself Clean” isn’t the first LCD Soundsystem video to feature the Muppets. Kermit actually stars in the official band video for “New York, I Love You but You’re Bringing Me Down.”
