Denver’s New Mission Ballroom Announces First Shows

Get ready, Colorado. A whole new era of music is coming to our state. After much hype and fanfare, The Mission Ballroom, a state-of-the-art music venue located in Denver’s RiNo District, will be opening its doors in grand style.

First up: The Lumineers, on August 7, followed by the Trey Anastasio Band, August 9 and 10, and Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals / Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, August 12.

The ticketing system for events at The MIssion Ballroom will operate in a unique way. To put your name in for tickets, you can make a ticket request for these shows up until noon on Saturday, March 24. Tickets will be issued four days later, on March 28. It follows a registration, review and fulfillment process.

You can view the Mission Fair Ticketing Procedures below.

The Mission Ballroom is the crown jewel of Colorado concert promoter Chuck Morris.

“For the last 48 years, I’ve been on a mission to build the finest venues and events for the greatest music community in the world,” said Morris, the AEG Presents Rocky Mountains’ CEO, last year, in announcing the venue to the public for the first time.

The venue is just the beginning of a much bigger mixed-use project encompassing the North Wynkoop development along Brighton Boulevard. Expect The Mission Ballroom to attract several national acts with its expandable stage, a capacity of up to 3,950 people, and tiered seating – a first for indoor venues in the state.

We’ll have all artist announcements as they come in, along with ticketing procedures.

Here are the links for the first three shows, on sale now.

Mission Fair Ticketing Procedures

When an event is announced tickets are immediately available for a pre-reservation.

Guests can enter a reservation at any time during the reservation period with credit card information.

The purchaser’s credit card is charged $1.00.

Once the registration period ends all orders are reviewed to remove all fraudulent purchases (such as bots and scammers).

Once the review is completed, the program randomly selects orders to fulfill until all orders are processed or until inventory is full.

At completion, all orders selected will have the deposit applied to the order and the credit card will be automatically charged the remaining amount of the ticket price.

If not randomly selected, the deposit will be refunded within 14 days. Tickets for those selected will be delivered to their account within a week of the event via Flash Mobile Delivery.

Any tickets unsold/unrequested for the first three shows will be put on to the AXS ticketing page on Friday, March 29 at 10 a.m. MDT.
