Martin Luther King Jr. Day music special
In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we are presenting a special music program on Monday, Jan. 15 beginning at noon MT in honor of Dr. King’s life and legacy.
The songs included range across genres and musical eras. Many live on as classics with a sound, and a message, that still resonates as strongly today as ever.

Monday’s program is hosted by Margot, who also hosts the weekly program Music 101. The series has previously featured episodes on the history of Civil Rights music. Listen to Music 101 on the Colorado Sound every Sunday at 10am MT, with the same episode repeated Wednesday at 8pm MT.
