The Colorado Sound Presents Lucinda Williams and Buick 6 at the Boulder Theater

On January 18, 2022, the Colorado Sound is thrilled to present a show at the Boulder Theater featuring Lucinda Williams and her band Buick 6. Located in beautiful downtown Boulder, Colorado, this is her first headlining Front Range show since the pandemic.

Lucinda’s full tour schedule is listed on her website, including a series of dates with Jason Isbell (they stop at Red Rocks on Aug. 1 but that show is sold out).  

The intimate Boulder Theater will provide an excellent chance to immerse yourself in Lucinda’s music, including songs from her 2020 album Good Souls Better Angels.

Below is a Tiny Desk (Home) Concert she recorded in 2020 with guitarist Stuart Mathis. Because of the pandemic, it was recorded not at the usual Tiny Desk space but at the Thirty Tigers office in Nashville, a place that is, as Bob Boilen writes, “usually filled with artist managers and folks who distribute music, including hers.”
