Live music from four incredible singer-songwriters? In a beautiful garden setting? That’s a fantastic combination.

Fort Collins Nursery hosted its 6th annual Rock Garden Concert in the round on Sept. 17 with singer-songwriters Liz Barnez, Megan Burtt, Alysia Kraft, and Bonnie Sims. The ‘in the round’ format allowed artists to take turns trading songs and sharing stories, while the rest can (if they like) add spontaneous backup vocals or instrumentation.

The garden concert was a benefit for the Vegetable Connection, and funds will support their mission to create a healthier community through food education, increasing access to nutritional food, and supporting local farmers. All event proceeds (ticket sales, donations from the auction, and wine and beer sales) go directly to The Vegetable Connection. 

Attendees relaxed under the evening sky in a gorgeous setting nestled along the banks of Dry Creek and the Cache la Poudre River. The concert featured an auction, a beer and wine tent, and a food truck.
 
The concert took place Friday, Sept. 17 at the Fort Collins Nursery, 2121 East Mulberry St. in Fort Collins, Colo. More details are available on the Fort Collins Nursery website.
