Kyle Emerson To Open For Anderson East At Our Birthday Bash

More exciting news surrounding our 2nd Annual Birthday Bash, taking place at Washington’s on March 17. Denver’s Kyle Emerson will be opening for Anderson East.

An Impressive 2017

Emerson, a former member of Plum, a highly regarded “psych-rock” band from Denver, released his first full length last year. That album, Dorothy Alicewas recently voted one of the best 105 Albums of the year by The Colorado Sound listeners.

Dorothy Alice has made a strong impression since coming out in 2017.

Dorothy Alice was also listed by the Denver Post as one of the best local releases of 2017. The album builds on Emerson’s success as a member of Plum. “So much of Emerson’s full-length debut feels like fresh air, even as it plumbs familiar sounds, cozying up between “Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere”-era Neil Young and the fret-traipsing Steve Gunn,” said the Post in its 2017 look back.

In other news surrounding the Washington’s show, last night Anderson East played “Girlfriend” on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. You can watch that clip below. He is also playing The Today Show on Friday, the same day Encore is out.

Limited tickets are still available for the Washington’s show.
