In Studio: Devon Gilfillian

On Friday, Nashville artist Devon Gilfillian stopped by for a gorgeous, soulful session of music ahead of the band’s Mission Ballroom show. In the interview with Margot, Gilfillian talks about the historic shows he has played, from Red Rocks to a historic venue in Lynchburg, Virginia.

For those new to the music of Gilfillian, the Philadelphia-born artist draws on a wellspring of soul, hip-hop, and R&B, with a voice that many have compared to Curtis Mayfield. The Capitol Records artist will release his new album in early 2020.
