Caribou Ranch featured on this week’s Colorado Playlist
Located just outside of Boulder, near Nederland Colo., Caribou Ranch reigned as one of the world’s elite recording studios and getaways for artists from Chicago to Earth, Wind and Fire, Elton John, and others. This week on the Colorado Playlist, host Chris K highlights several of those artists and recordings cut there between 1972 and 1977. “Rocky Mountain High” is Colorado’s state song but not only song for or about the Centennial State released by artists like John Denver, Joe Walsh, Willie Nelson, and others. Chris K showcases and highlights the songs and artists who fell in love with our state in Hour 2 of this week’s episode of the Colorado Playlist.
