The Bluebird Music Festival has for years made it’s home in Boulder, Colo. Today, for the first time ever, the Bluebird Music Festival announces it will hold another festival in Fort Collins, Colo.

Happening Oct. 3-5, 2024, the Fort Collins edition of Bluebird will feature performances by Josh Ritter, John Craigie, Jade Bird, Viv & Riley, the Wildwoods, Tyree Woods, and two Colorado Sound Music Award winners: Daniel Rodriguez and Alysia Kraft. Shows will take place at three separate venues: Washington’s, the Armory, and OBC Wine Project.

Tickets, schedule, and further details are on the Bluebird Music Festival website.

As the festival wrote in a release, the expansion to Fort Collins “This “is not just about growing the music portion of the festival” but is also about “It’s about “improving communities outside of our own. You will see us at a variety of Colorado towns, each fall, in the coming years.”

What they’re now calling “Bluebird Week” will also “consist of youth instrument drops, an environmental cleanup, and a music festival. Our mission is to land on a Colorado town for a week each fall and leave it better than we found it.”

Shows will be ticketed separately, but the festival will also offer a VIP pass that includes an exclusive VIP event at the OBC Wine Project with Daniel Rodriguez and early entry passes to the two concerts at Washington’s.

The Colorado Sound has been supporting the Bluebird Music Festival since its inception in 2018, helping to bring artists such as Ben Harper, Jeff Tweedy, Gregory Alan Isakov, Watchhouse, Shovels & Rope, Buffalo Nichols, Heavy Gus, Emelise, Jim James, Colin Meloy, Margo Price, Jade Bird, and the Lone Bellow to the festival stage, along with numerous Colorado performers.

The Bluebird Music Festival helps support the work of the Future Arts Foundation, a federally recognized nonprofit whose mission is to improve communities through arts, music, and environmental programs.

The Fort Collins edition of the Bluebird Music Festival takes place Oct. 3-5 at various venues in Fort Collins, Colo. Tickets are on sale now.
