Ben Harper and Watchhouse will headline the 2023 Bluebird Music Festival in Boulder Colo., the festival announced today.
The lineup for the two-day event, which is presented by the Colorado Sound and takes place once again at CU Boulder’s Macky Auditorium, also includes Shovels & Rope, Haley Heynderickx, Buffalo Nichols, Adam Aijala & Ben Kaufmann of Yonder Mountain String Band, Daniel Rodriguez, Joshua Lee Turner & Bob Barrick, Emelise, and Heavy Gus.
The fifth annual festival takes place April 29-30, 2023, and as in years past, each day will feature an evening performance as well as a more casual Strings & Stories performance each afternoon. Tickets for all four sessions are on sale now as a special weekend festival pass on the Bluebird Music Festival website.
The Colorado Sound has been supporting the Bluebird Music Festival since 2018, helping bring artists such as Jim James, Colin Meloy, Margo Price, Jade Bird, Langhorne Slim, and the Lone Bellow to the festival stage – along with numerous Colorado performers.
The Bluebird Music Festival helps support the work of the Future Arts Foundation, a federally recognized nonprofit whose mission is to improve communities through arts, music, and environmental programs.
