This year’s 53:14 music videos premiered Sept. 2
The video shoots have wrapped, and now it’s time to share the incredible work with the world. On Friday, Sept. 2, the Lyric Cinema in Fort Collins, Colo. will premiere all 10 videos that were conceived, created, and produced for this year’s 53:14 Music Video Experiment.
The event includes new music videos from Bevin Luna, DEBR4H, Heavy Diamond Ring, Julia Kirkwood, Julian Fulco Perron, Lolita, Maxwell Hughes, modrn, Schama Noel, and the Timberline.
The video premiere party will also include live performances from 53:14 alumni including Miranda Fling and Write Minded. The music starts at 6:30pm, and the event is free. Colorado Sound staff will be on hand at the event as well, so come by and say hello!
53:14 is an annual event where teams of musicians and filmmakers conceive, shoot, edit, and deliver an original music video, all within the time frame of 53 hours and 14 minutes. Each team is given a budget of $1000 to use for whatever they need to complete the project.
Note that 53:14 is not a competition. The organizers aim for it to be a collaborative, community-building experience.
