Artist lineup revealed for this year’s 53:14 Music Video Experiment

The 10 Colorado musicians and bands participating in this year’s 53:14 Music Video Experiment have been selected! 

Bevin Luna, Companion, Debr4h, Heavy Diamond Ring, Julia Kirkwood, Julian Fulco Perron, Lolita, modrn, Schama Noel, and the Timberline will each be paired with a Colorado film/video artist to create a unique music video – all with a budget of $1000 and a time limit of 53 hours and 14 minutes.

During the time limit, teams of musicians and filmmakers will conceive, shoot, edit, and deliver an original music video. Filmmakers and musicians won’t know who they are working with until the kickoff event on August 12. Each team will have a budget of $1000 to use for whatever they need to complete the project.

The videos will then premiere on Sept. 2 at the Lyric Cinema in Fort Collins. The public is invited, so save the date! 
 
Note that 53:14 is not a competition. The organizers aim for it to be a collaborative, community-building experience.
